New Fursona + Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs

I just drew this picture of my new fursona. I'm quite happy. I love monochrome, skinny frames, long ears, tongues, and tails. So I updated my fursona.

Also, I realized I never wrote down my thoughts on the most recent movie I have watched, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.
Maybe you have heard of the picture book, maybe not. It was one of my favorite books. I am amazed how they god such an interesting story out of a little book like Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, but they did and did it quite well.
The characters are well done, their voices well-picked, and their designs are simple and cute. You can't not love the huge eyes on them.
I won't say any more, as I maight spill some beans for anyone who cares to read my blog.

Unmoving Thoughts + Crazy

I always imagined anything I drew was moving. When on paper, though, it comes to mind that it is impossible for graphite on paper to move on it's own. I guess that I have unknowingly been crushing my dreams.
So, I shall animate. I already tried my hand at animation before, but seeing some very interesting animations has motivated me to do better and reach [and hopefully surpass] the level animation talent I see around me.

I have started out with a practice, simple and quick, to test some movement effects.

In other news,

A while ago, I made a drawing of my character called Crazy. It's the first picture I made, I think, where I sat down and drew, colored, and shaded a human character. I am still quite proud of this work.

[It's funny, now I can't get it out of my head that Crazy's voice sounded different in my head before this song. I guess now he has an accent.]

If you are wondering; Yes, Crazy's hands are a different color than his face and have sharp tips to them. I have no idea why.

My NaNoWriMo story is canceled. I might do one, or choose a different topic...
If I do, I'll post here first.

My 2 male human characters, the first human characters I had, are like the left and right sides of my brain...
Gregory is quite the artist, and Crazy is a mathematician...Odd.

Here's a sneak-peak:
When she got up, she had some trouble with picking up her things - even though she had only blankets - and stumbled off. She wrapped the blankets over her, which could have been taken as ‘I am cold’ but I knew what she was doing. She was hiding herself.
Sure enough, the men and women in suits and head-covers appeared around the corner to the ally we were in and started looking at everyone’s face. Their head-covers were the newest of thin, strong helmets. Thousands of dollars worth, I’d guess. If I’m right, that means that these people are important. Important people don’t waste their time looking at the mugs of hobos.
They were looking for someone.

Amazing. You should take my keyboard away.

Nothing Much

I'm sorry for inactivity. I have nothing to really show you but some quick fanart made in iScribble.net of Alphonse Elric [as a human] from the manga/anime series Fullmetal Alchemist.

It's very interesting and I suggest you read it.

It's kinda funny, I find that I relate to fictional characters more than real humans. Maybe it's because I live in a fantasy world. I wouldn't know.

Anyways, in school we are learing about Egypt and it's gods and godesses. It's really cool to learn about thier mythology. My favorite god would have to be Anubis, the god of the dead. I'm probably going to end up drawing him the way I see him, considering most of our homework this week is coloring gods and the Nile.

In art we are making giant face cards. I'm not good at drawing humans, so this might not work out for me.

New Art +Commision News

One of my characters, Takari, has just recived a revamp and a reference sheet! You can't see the details in the mini one so please click on it to se full size.

His left eye[Takari's left, not yours] is bright green and the other is black due to a second soul in his body. Oooooh. Scars/wounds are artist's choice but he always has the one displayed here. When he gets injured, he wraps it up so his wraps will most likely be stained with blood. The demon fur suround any and all scars/wounds. When he looses control and the demon inside take over his body he turns completly black. One more thing, the deamon fur cannot be affected by light, and he is often called 'The One that Lives In Darkness' by natives. While passing through towns on his travels, he must hide from both the humans and the cats that he doesn't know or he will risk being caught and probably killed.

My boring essay is done. Yay.

My dad just threw random money my way. Litteraly, he threw it at me. $15.25! With this, I can now lower the price on my commisions. Whoo!

God, I need to sleep...I have school...

When I get a job I'm geting a noctunal one. Or one that is half day half night. I dunno.

Anyways, I still have to do a Prismacolor project for art class that was due last year. My art teacher [Ms. Surber] was nice enough to let me finish it later. That is something that will deprive me of my personal art...

I have a contest going on, but more on that tomorrow.

I made this awsome hearder in Photoshop and then wheile I was looking up some music on Blubster 3.07, a window popped up saying 'Ending 'photoshop.exe'. Either my computer hates me or I'm being hacked.
